This complex offers two eighteen hole courses. The East Course was built on flat terrain and features narrow fairways and some bunkers, but there is no water in play. The West Course is seasonal and has wide-open fairways and many trees that can alter your shots. Water hazards come into play on at least four holes.

i have played the golf course a dozen times and frankly the condition of it is a huge factor to whether you can go low or high...the fairways have certain dead parts and the greens are fairly slow during summer and fall seasons...the course may be long but if you enjoy slow greens then its a course for you...

I have played the east course around 10 times either walking or riding and I enjoyed everytime. the first hole is a killer par 5.You have some holes that you could low but for the most part it is a fairly challenging course. The pin placements sometimes don't leave you much green to work with (placed in front) but the speed of the green is consistent throughout. I hope this helps and you have a wonderful time like i do.

Member : I found this golf course very changing and beautiful. Even though the course is somewhat short, it is heavily guarded with trees and it has a fair amount of sand around the greens and 3 fairway bunkers, the 1st is on #3 and the other 2 on #17 . The greens are very will maintained with a good quick pace to them. It would be wise to keep it in the short grass because the ruff can get pretty hairy. The best thing about this course is that the average cost to play is $20 to $40 dollars with cart. The down side is that it is located in the sticks (Corry Pa.), about 50 to 60 minutes south east of Erie Pa. They recently started taking take t-times about 2 years ago, so you can call ahead and schedule your time (up to 3 days ahead). If you like a changing and scenic golf course you should take the short trip to North Hills and give the course a try. Happy golfing R.A.W.

Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

Throckmorton Country Club
"The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
