This facility has an eighteen hole course with newly planted trees that leave the fairways wide open. The terrain is flat and easy to walk, and there are water hazards that come into play on seven holes. There is also a flat, nine hole par 3 course that is excellent for seniors who enjoy walking, or others who need improvement on their short game. There is no water or sand on the nine hole course, and the sloped greens have average speed. For the automated telephone tee time maker call (253) 852-9112.

nice course, May 09, 2010
reviewer: Phillip from Black Diamond
After reading the previous reviews, I believe they have done considerable improvements on this course. Nice and wide open. If you are able to hit straight, then you will not be annoyed with the hazards at all. Thirty dollar green fee's on a sunday morning is more then reasonable.

Growing fan base..., May 01, 2008
reviewer: seniorpm from Kent, WA USA
The 18 hole course is fun becuase it's unpredictable. NW rain keeps the fairways moderately green and the greens moderately fast. Not too many water hazards and not too many traps. Easier holes turn out to be challenging. The drink cart gals are friendly. Sometimes the pace of play is a factor because of learners. Easy in, easy out. Easy reservations. Clean restrooms. The grill is weird - 80% of my visits were wrong orders or something unexpected, e.g. Stuffed Mushroom Caps are really mushrooms in artichoke dip. Sashimi order came to us frozen. I play this course 10x+ /yr and it never bores me. :) Convenient to I-5ers.

Not all it's cracked up to be, Sep 07, 2005
reviewer: glenn waters from Normandy Park
I and my partner golf at least twice a week and usually don't play the same course more than twice in a row. Over the labor day weekend we played Riverbend 18 hole course. It is beyond a doubt in the worse shape of any course we play. Very disapointing and definately not worth the green fee's charged

Good value, good course, Jul 06, 2005
reviewer: Mike from Edmonds, WA
Riverbend is good. Not spectacular, not exceptional, but good. Course is always in solid shape, and for a place that is always busy, you don't get bogged down in six-hour rounds like Bellevue, for instance. Nice variety in layout, with some challenging par 5s and plenty of hazards. Good course.

A nice challenge, May 30, 2004
reviewer: Rick from Seattle area
The course is well maintained and is a good challenge with nice greens. It moves fairly well unless a tournament is happening. Expect a 5 hour round and you should be alright as this is a public course in the middle of town. It has a nice bar/restaurant. Reasonable to excellent price for green fees depending upon the time of year $30-$40. Certainly a good course to play if you are staying in the Sea/Tac Airport or Tukwila area.

Really good course for the price., Feb 27, 2004
reviewer: Barry B. Brown from Federal Way, WA USA
This 18 hole course is surprisingly good for it being in the center of Kent. Some of the holes are challenging and the course is well maintained. They have a nice clubhouse and restaurant, plus a driving range and 3 par course across the street. The best thing about this course is the price, $22 on weekdays and $26 on weekends. For that price it's a steal, especially in the Seattle area where golf prices are usually high.
