This narrow course has numerous trees lining its fairways. There are no sand bunkers on the course, but there is one grass bunker and water comes into play on five holes. The greens are predominantly small, vary in undulation, and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions. The terrain is slightly rolling, however, it's a great course to walk. There are beautiful views from off the course of the Warm Springs River. Discounts on green fees are offered in the early mornings and evenings. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Cold Springs Golf & Country Club
"Customer Service, can make a day."
I recently went and played the small country club in eastern California, at the end of the summer. The Pro Keith Rader was extremely kind helping me find the place. The staff appeared to be a little grungy when I got there Larry a staff employee, while not the best looking gentleman was one of the nicest people there. The assistant a tall, upbeat young man always smileing had a few good pointers for my golf game. Though I don't remember his name I am sure we will see him further his golf career, he really seemed to know his stuff. Thanks to Cold Springs, and what an enjoyable day

"Good for a short course"
I was visiting during a misty, rainy day but other than that I really enjoyed this course because it is not as easy as it looks. You really need to know your irons when playing this course. It's very easy to over-hit some of the holes.

Ticonderoga Country Club
"Challenging long holes & tremendously manicured"
This 18-holer had a great mix of long and short holes, challenging and intermediate greens. This course is in particularly good condition year after year for such hard winters. Besides for some of the grumpy old men who play the course, and think they own it and let you know it (standard, yet dieing breed of golf clientele for some courses), I have had several fantastic rounds on this course.
