Slight rolling hills overlooking the Mississippi, Jul 20, 2007

I had a wonderful experience at Birchwood. The scenary is spectacular with the natural forests and mississippi river overlook. Some holes are challenging(for a beginner) however the entire course is able to be completed by even the newest golfers. I can't wait to return.It was definately the best course in the entire area that I have golfed at (Lancaster, Cuba City, Platteville)

For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.
