This course has tree-lined fairways and only three seriously-undulating greens. Water only comes into play on one hole. The signature hole is #18, a 410-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over a ravine to the green. This hole is usually difficult for the average golfer to make par.

| I have played this course about 5 times a year for the past 5 years. I always enjoy the round. Being a high 80's, low 90's player the course gives me just the right amount of challenge and forgiveness. Could use a few more yardage markers but other than that it's worth the hour drive for me. Don't need to hit driver on really any hole, but most fairways are wide if you feel the need to let it rip. I had my best score at Cameron Hills teeing off with a 2 iron. Only a few greens have a server slope so putting is no problem here. Take the time and make the trip. |

| I had a wonderful time playing Cameron Hills last season. I found this shorter course was both enjoyable and challenging. This is my first year swinging a club and I have visited several courses. I felt this course allowed me to play a challenging round while improving my skills without the frustration of the harder courses. Even though Cameron Hills is an hour away from home, I plan on making a couple of trips to the links this year. I played the course right after Hurricane Isabel played through and the only problem I had with the course was the debris from the hurricane. I don't hold that against Cameron Hills, they made a good attempt at working around the fallen trees. Thanks for a great time, I'm looking forward to visiting again. |
