This course has one water hazard in the form of a natural pond. When it rains the pond becomes a large marsh. The terrain is flat with a few dogleg fairways and several sand bunkers. This course was cut out of the woods and each hole is tree lined. The club offers discounts during the fall and the rates include a riding cart.

What this little beauty lacks in length and pedigree, it makes up for with a heavy dose of genuine character and a scenic backdrop of rolling, green hills that surround the valley the course is cut out of. Birch Run has seen remarkable improvement in the general shape of its greens, fairways and tees in the last 5 years -- largely thanks to the unwavering dedication of its management and staff. Players enjoy an inexpensive greens fee ($10-15) that courses with more cachet can't offer, combined with a very fun 19th hole atmosphere for post-round relaxation. All in all, a solid bargain that will have you coming back for repeat visits.

Bluebonnet Hill Golf Club & Range
"Best Value in Austin!"
I think I've played almost every course in Austin and by far I would say that Bluebonnet Hill is the highest ranking course on my list b/c they keep their course in as great a shape as the high-dollar courses and yet their green fees are about the cost of a municipal course. Great Job guys!
