This traditional course requires some shot to blind greens. The course was built on hilly terrain, the fairways are wide open. The small greens are undulating and difficult to read. Water hazards come into play on a couple of holes, plus some sand bunkers have been spread throughout the course. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Needs work, Aug 12, 2006

I recently played this course in a local tournament. Basic upkeep and maintenance is in order. Fairways were ragged and carpaths are deteriorating. Additionally, the course is set-up with many blind (and ridiculous) holes. Although the staff and members are friendly (and very proud of their course, I couldn't recommend membership in this club.

Antelope Hills Golf Course
"Diamond in the rough"
In July, 2003 I had the chance to try out this little 9 hole course and I was very satisfied with my experience. The fairways were in tremendous condition and the greens offered a perfect putting surface. We could hear the coyotes howling as we started our round in the morning. The peacefulness alone (my wife and I were the only people on the course) was worth the price of green fees. The green fees, by the way, are very reasonable. The scenery from the first tee is spectacular, especially if you glance to the west. If you're looking for a tough challenge, this isn't the course for you. The course is not too challenging but is a perfect stop if you're a beginner or coming out of Yellowstone and want to just relax on the course. It's very wide open so you shouldn't lose any balls. My wife is a beginner golfer and had a very enjoyable round. Everything is well-maintained and we found the staff to be courteous and friendly. I plan on returning to play this course again and I highly recommend you give it a try. Definitely a course to walk (not ride) to get the full enjoyment.

Crested Butte Country Club
"beautiful"
This is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever scene! It is perfectly set in the middle of the Rocky Mountains at the base of Mount Crested Butte.

Pines Par 3 Golf Course
"Pines Par 3"
This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool.

Lake Wilderness Golf Course
"Good targeted golf layout"
Likes: This is a good test of any golfers skill. It requires you to think and plan from the tee. Golfers who like to pull out "The Big Dog" and grip it and rip it on every hole will not like this course. The course forces you to play smart to score well. There are risk/reward holes worth the gamble, and others that attempt to sucker you. If you play smart you can score well at Lake Wilderness. If not, it may be a long day. This is a shorter course. The clubhouse has good food and good beer. Dislikes: Only one really. I don't care for holes where there are houses close. This course has a handful of them.
