Excellent Course!, Aug 01, 2005
reviewer: Thomas from Houston, TX USA
Beautiful views and the course was in great shape. Fast greens were in great shape, like putting on astro turf. Played late in the day at the end of July and the course was nearly empty! The weather was hot but not a problem for any Houston golfer used to the heat and humidity. Best course I have ever played and will be going back again.

Beautiful Setting, Jan 22, 2005

Absolutely beautiful setting on the lake. Greens are great and putts run true. Stay out of the rough; it's difficult. One of the best courses I've played in a long, long time.

Worth the Drive!, Apr 23, 2004
reviewer: Anonymous from Austin, Texas
A fantastic layout in very good condition. The strategic design is truly a championship layout. Low handicap players will have fun with the "risk-reward" options on every hole. If you focus too hard you will forget to enjoy the lake views on 15 holes. The facilities compliment the course and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. I played one other Randy Heckenkemper's design in San Antonio which was very good as well, but this layout offers more terrain change and lake views. A must play if you enjoy scenic golf!

Best Public Course in the Southwest, Feb 12, 2004
reviewer: Anonymous from Oklahoma City, OK USA
This golf course is quite different from any state course, or other public course I have ever played. The staff treats you like royalty right when you arrive. The cart attendants load and unload your clubs at the door. The club pros are very courteous. The course is located on the shores of Lake Texhoma, the biggest lake in Texas or Oklahoma. The layout is amazing, with the lake bordering 15 holes. It is very challenging, and very fun. This plot is some of the most beautiful, rolling terrain in all of Oklahoma. The greens are fast, with deceptive undulation, but they are still forgiving enough for the average hacker to enjoy the play along with the scenery. This was a GREAT day of golf. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys challenging golf or just a nice day in a beautiful country atmosphere.
