This scenic course has several mature trees lining its fairways. The terrain is hilly, so expect some uneven lies. The fairways are open, and the greens are fast. Water hazards (a large lake) come into play on a few holes.

| this course has just what every course needs - character!! the greenskeeper & his crew must really love their jobs because it sure does show in the beauty of the course! each & every hole & green are painstakingly maintained to perfection. not being a terrific golfer myself, i found the course challenging - but isn't that the point of a good course?! the clubhouse staff are wonderful, too! boy, can they pour a mean beer! and the food is to die for!
i hope y'all come soon to experience the nirvana i did at lake calhoun outside tiny little lafayette, il! |
