This scenic course is located in the Cumberland Mountains right next to Norris Lake. The tree-lined fairways are fairly tight, and water comes into play on six holes. The most difficult hole is #3, a 376-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water, then an approach shot over water to an isolated and undulating green.

Piney Valley Golf Course
"Not too bad"
This golf course offers an exersise of the mental game and practice on accuracy. This course is one of the nicest in the area. The front nine offers chances to let loose and holes to decide what club to hit. The back nine is more flat yet a bit more difficult due to the mind set of trying to reach in two. This course is not a five because easyness and choices of veggitation and is not a four because of it being on a military base ( security check gates) however for someone who doesn't want to travel an hour or two away its nothing to complain about.

Hickory Sticks is an unearthed gem. The condition of the course is near perfect. Because of the location (hidden but only 15 min. from I-275) makes this a logical place to play a quick undisturbed round.

The course is well kept. The greens are extremely fast, so keep your ball below the cup on aproach! Keep it in the short stuff or you will pay for it. Some unique holes that prove to be difficult time after time, such as the "Gauntlet".

this is an awsome course. i should know because i practice there three times a week, i'm on the berkeley high golf team. it can be a hard course though, espescialy if you are a beginer. you should really play this course.
