This course rewards good golfers with low scores. Numerous greenside bunkers guard the fairly small greens, making this course more fun or challenging, depending on your skill level. The greens are mostly flat, but there are some subtle breaks which will still require a good read. The fairways vary from narrow to open and have a standard cut of rough defining their borders.

| Doesn't have the awe inspiring look of valhalla or the difficulty of persimmon ridge, but its charecter is intact. The previouse review wasn't completly inaccurate about the fairways. There was a span of time they were in rough shape. There have been improvements since however. The greens are generally fast. stay clear of hazards the safe play is usually the correct one here, as there is most often ample room to play around them. |

| I don't like giving bad reviews, but the louisville municipal courses are in better shape than this course. The greens are NOT flat.
But they are in fair to good shape. Be careful tho, they are very fast and hard. The fairways are pathetic. Many have dying grass. Lot of blind shots. The best thing about the course is the tee boxes. Probably will not play again. |
