This course is mostly flat, so it is easy to walk. The small greens are fast and full of subtle breaks. The rough is thick, and the fairways are tree lined. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

This 9 hole (x2) course is well designed and places the premium on driving the ball. It's flat with few bunkers. Greens are well groomed and true. You'll do fine as long as you stay in the fairway. The rough will find you in the eastern Colorado high plains sand & rock. The course is a good test of golf, though, and worth the trip.

"It's Fun"
The course is OK. I've played it about 10 times and they need to get the front 9 in. If they got the front 9 in I think it would me a lot more fun.

Querbes Park Golf Course
"Fun course... worth playing at least once"
It's a decent course. For the price, it's very good. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. $14 is cheap for 18 holes of golf. Many of the greens are strangely small. Too small in some cases. Although, since many holes are very short, the small greens make them harder, which is good. No real bunkers. There are some strange dug up pits with sand in them, but they look like an afterthought. I wish they did the bunkers correctly, or just completely left them out. There are a few very fun holes on back-9. I recommend playing the course at least once. I did play the course during winter so the greens weren't too great, but it's understandale in February. I will definately play there more in the spring when conditions will be better. Especially being a college student, I'm all for the price.

Goose Pond Colony Golf Course
"Water Hazards?"
Make the turn at even or better if you expect to go low. If water hazards aren't for you be ready on the back side. 6 of the 9 have water hazards that can come into play if your not on your game. I felt good with a 75.

Valley View Golf Course
"The Best Golf Course in the State"
It is hard to say how I feel about this magnificent golf course in only 1,000 words. The natural beauty and splendor of the course added to the enjoyable time I had while playing a round of golf. This course is challenging, and it is a good test of your abilities. The pro shop is is also very neat and organized. I met a man who worked there who was an artisst as well as a golfer! He had taken pictures of golfers in different positions and painted them into humorous golf paintings. I learned his name was Todd Budge and that aside from working in the pro shop and painting, he also teaches golf lessons! This golf course has it all. A Cafe, a pro shop, lessons, a driving range, practice putting greens, and a splended course. I give this course a 5-star rating and recommend it above all other courses in the state of Utah. I am going to try and drive up at least twice a month to play a round of golf at Valley View. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get this message out ot people, but I am recommending that everyone who reads this message pass it along to friends so at the first of spring, everybody can enjoy a beautiful round of golf.
