This is a very enjoyable course that is recognized as one of the most popular courses in the area. The greens are very fast. The holes are designed within valleys and offer many sidehill and downhill lies. The signature hole is #18, a 369-yard downhill par 4, which plays to a very small, postage stamp-sized green. The main difficulties on this course are the many blind approach shots to the elevated greens. Long hitters will be happy to know that a couple of the par 5's are easily reached in two shots, so an eagle is not out of the question. Only seniors with an L.A. County card receive discounts.

first hole looks a little tricky, but keep your ball on the fairway and its an easy par. other than that , it was kept in pretty good cond. nice true greens and a couple long par 4's.

"Best Course in WNY"
Not an overly long course, it rewards accuracy off the tee and penalizes errant strokes. The greens are fast and true, and generally break less than one would imagine. The front nine is deceptive, punishing anyone who strays off the tree-lined fairways. The back nine can be attacked, but the sightlines off the tees can intimidate the first time player. Use long irons from the tee to keep the ball in play(only if they are are a strength in your game), and you will be surprised with the result. Putting is the primary key to scoring on this picturesque layout.

Twin Hills Golf Course
"Short and well maintained"
Twin Hills is a short course - 6000 yards according to the card, and even that might be a stretch. The game starts on the greens here; they are among the most difficult in the area because of the undulations. The best holes are the par 3s. The facilities are barebones - no proshop, small and dated clubhouse. No frills golf, but they seem to have course maintenance down to a science.

Colton Golf Club
"Good Value"
I highly recomend this course for begining golfers and intermediate golfers alike. Although the fairways are not always in good condition, the greeens always are. 15 of the holes are par 3s and the rest are short par 4s. It's very inexpensive ($7 on weekdays!) and a good value. Its almost never crowded and you don't have to rush. Its easy enough for young golfers and allows more experienced golfers to work on their short game with a wide variety of par 3s (from 100 to 210 yards) Most of the holes are around 140-150 yards. I play at this course more than any other for a good reason, the value.
