One of the better local courses, Jul 12, 2005
reviewer: Dave from Longmont
Hey T.J., have another beer. This course is in great shape this year. The greens are fast and true, fairways in good condition, and pace of play has not been slow in the 6 rounds I've played so far. I can't think of a better course for the $ in the area excecpt maybe Riverdale Dunes. --Dave

No better than you would expect a muni to be, Jul 06, 2005
reviewer: T.J. Mills from Lafayette, CO
This course has gone down hill over the past few years. It is, at best, an average muni course. Expect the rules to be enforced and won't bend if the woman pro is in the club house except for the most important one. Pace of play. She has no tolerance for any others being bent and the course is usually jammed up terribly trying to fit everyone in. This couse could be a great test of a players ability but unfortunately it has gone the way of most muni's in that the greens are average at best, the hole cutting is inconsistent, the fairways are so-so, the bunkers are wet gravel and the pins are the same every day of the week. If you are an average hacker, this is ok but if you are looking for a nice course to play on your vacation, there are much better options.

Top Municipal Course in northern Colorado, Nov 05, 2004
reviewer: Carl N from Erie, CO
Hale Irwin designed course that takes maximum advantage of the terrain. Signature hole is the 18th with an impressive view of the front range of the Rockies. Course uses more land than the average municipal, so plenty of room to work with. Most impressive features of the course are the staff, one of the most professional and customer oriented of any muni anywhere. Almost as impressive is the maintenance of the course. Despite heavy usage throughout the summer, conditions of the fairways and greens consistently rival most semi-private and private clubs. Excellent practice facilities as well. A bit pricier than the average municipal course here in Colorado but well worth the few extra bucks.

Great condition, varied tees and plenty of doglegs, etc. Every hole is different. Very spacious.
