Lafayette Municipal Golf Course
800 Golf View DrLafayette, IN 47904
Phone: (765)476-4588
This course features the Wabash River flowing alongside its perimeter. The fairways are tree lined, and water hazards come into play on some holes. All eighteen greens are elevated, so be sure to add extra distance to these uphill shots. An accurate approach shot is needed on hole #6, a 419-yard, par 5, which has a pond sitting the left of the green and two sand bunkers on the right.

| I have played here many times. Each time I play it I dislike it even more. The elevated greens are too high in some spots and greens are too big. Some tee boxes rival those of a cow pasture. Overall I extremely dislike this golf course. |

| It is a par4 instead of par 5 as the title states. the course has large elevated greens and usually the course is in really good shape. for the money it is a good deal. it is pretty open for the average golfer. |

Nice course - When it's open, Jan 10, 2005 |

| The Lafayette Municipal golf course is a great example of a course that is somewhat undone by virtue of its location. The proximity to the Wabash river makes it necessary for all of the greens to be elevated, since the Wabash floods the course at least once a year. On those rare seasons when the course is open for the entire summer, the course is very lush and the layout is quite formidable. A good opportunity to test one's shot making skills is apparent on every hole due to the elevated greens as well as the variety of hole lengths and doglegs. |
