This course is very difficult, so be prepared to use every club in your bag. The fairways are narrow, and the small greens are fast. The course is located in the countryside. The back nine was added in 1988, the front nine was built earlier in the century.

this course is in terrible shape. the greens are in fair shape. the fairways are hard and bumpy. the rough is extreme its is grass that has not been mowed for at least six months if you hit a ball in the rough you will never find your ball. the tee boxes are trashed. the carts are slow and trashed because of alot of teens are playing bumper cars instead of golf. have never seen a course marshal. they continually allow groups of six or larger making for slow play. the customer service is horrible. would not reccommend course to anyone.

I played there for the first time earlier this year, being a new golfer, I was somewhat intimidated by the course at first. Excellent greens, and there is an awesome hole that is about 300 feet above the fairway which is very nerve racking to a new golfer. All in all a great place to golf

Great course, Jul 15, 2004 |

This is a very nice course in a great setting with some very challenging holes. One problem that I have are the couple of blind holes. Starting with #1 which is a dogleg to the right you cannot see the green, or the flag, as it is behind a hill. Can be dealt with, just a little frusturating. The course has spectacular views on nearly every hole with (I believe #5) a fantastic short par 4 with at least a 100' elevation drop, the fairway lined with trees on both sides and water on the right of the green. Definately put this course on your list of courses to play!

Wow! A great course. With the LA area expanding greater than ever, this is a great place to be. The country setting, cheap prices, and still close enough to "be there", its a great place. The climate can't be beat. If you want a great place to golf, and still have enough left over for lunch, Lake Elizabeth is the place to go.
