This beautiful course was built on hilly terrain. The long rough bordering the fairways will add strokes if you don't keep the ball in play. The fairways are open, and the greens are fast and firm. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and there are about thirty homes on the course. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 10th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 8th best for 1997-98. The 5.828-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 68.5 and a slope of 120.

As with any golf course, if you stay in the fairway you can score. Left or right it's going to be a long day! First class club. Members make sure you know that you don't belong. Men's Grill is filled with rich snobs who think their doo-doo doesn't stink. Wonderful course, members are snobs!

"If you get the chance to play..."
great course requiring the use of all clubs in the bag. most holes are quite challenging,at least for this (15) handicapper. most holes require keeping it in the fairway, or it's trouble. water comes into play on a few holes. blind tee shot on 18 can be a killer. don't pass up the opportunity to play! finally, being from out of town was made easier by the friendly staff.

This cousce is very beautiful. The course was carved out of a wooded area so there are plenty of trees. Plenty of wildlife. The course is easy to moderate in difficulty. I give this course a 3 star.

"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

"Great old classic"
Classic course. Elevation changes make the course play longer than the yardage. Fast smooth greens can be treacherous. A nice variety of shots is required.
