This narrow executive course was built on hilly terrain, so expect some uneven lies. The course is home to an abundance of wildlife and quite picturesque because many of the tees are elevated. The greens are fast and average-sized, and the rough defining the fairways is high. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on seven holes. Senior and junior discounts are only available Monday through Thursday. Banquet and catering facilities are also available; contact the pro shop for further details.

This unique golf course was closed for business in 2004. The land is now being leveled for townhouses/condos.

Arroyo Seco Golf Course
"Pretty Good Par 3"
This is a good course to tune up your short irons. It's pretty well maintained (the tees are mats however). Most holes are about 130 yards or so with a pond coming into play on a couple holes. There are no sand traps, but there is a stream that runs through the course as well as many trees. It's a good course to play after work, with your family, or when you don't want to play a full golf course.

For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.

Carper's Valley Golf Club
"local and enjoyable"
Although an older course it has improved with age and with the rainy season last year (2002) the greens are fuller. A range is available and I try to get the most of my short game with the putting green. The back nine brings you up next to the airport but the single engine planes are not loud and are enjoyable to watch landing as your partner tries to keep up your great shot.
