This course has a creek and several ponds coming into play throughout its design. The fast greens are in good condition, including five that were redesigned in 1997. The signature hole is #8, a 511-yard, par 5, which requires the tee shot to clear a ditch that runs through the course. The approach shot must clear a pond on the way to the green, which is cut out of the woods and surrounded by trees.

| Really enjoyed this course. Old nine is narrow with lots of trees. Greens can have a lot of movement in some places. Number two is a great view from the tee. The older gentleman in the pro shop was exceedingly friendly and helpful, especially while we were sitting out a rain delay. This is a "jewel" of a course that I would gladly play again. |
