there is no place for cranks at a golf course. golf is fun and a place to socialize. get rid of cranky and enjoy the game and surroundings.just maybe my son and wife will start playing again.

I'm a native of Lamar and I've yet to find a course that can have as much fun on (six water hazzards on 9 holes) as I can Speading Antlers. The Old Guy in the proshop is a bit cranky, thats Why The board should Hire Gary Ply as Manager and Pay Him a livable wage to run it all. The place would be packed each summer weekend due to NEW BLOOD, PlyMaster is that NEW BLOOD. Gary Ply Loves Golf and He too is a native of Lamar. Rock & Roll. PROMOTE FROM WITHIN.

Mountain Valley Golf Course - Maple/Oak Course
"hidden gem"
Course was originally 18 but 9 new holes were added in the last few years. The three nines, oak, pine, and maple are all challenging with tight tree lined fairways with generous sized greens with a fair bit of undulation. Huge elevation changes on some holes offer great views of the surrounding PA countryside. Although not the longest course, although some holes are quite long it is easily the most difficult in the region due to the tightness and difficult putting greens. The greens are always in great condition so the difficulty I have with putting is assuredly not the course, It's all mine. Great value too, and a friendly and helpful staff makes these three nine hole courses a must when in the area.

"The cream of the Crop"
The triple Crown Country Club golf course is one of the best golf courses I've had the pleasure to enjoy. Play is calm and relaxed. The course is majestic and the foreground beautiful. I recommend this course to any golfer who would like to experience one of Kentucky's finest.
