The designer wanted to put an emphasis on approach shots rather than water hazards, although one pond does come into play on this course. The signature hole is #17, a 568-yard, par 5, which drops off to the left from the tee with bunkers running along the left side. On the right side of this hole is a cemetery and the two-tiered green has a steep fall off. It will take some accuracy to make par on this hole. Walking is available after 3 PM.

| THIS COURSE IS A PETE DYE DESIGNED COURSE WITH A GREAT LAYOUT. THE FAIRWAYS ARE PLENTY WIDE ENOUGH. COURSE NOT TOO LONG, AND THE GREENS ARE VERY RECEPTIVE. THE COMPLETE COURSE IS WELL MAINTAINED, IT IS IDEAL FOR THE MID TO HI HANDICAP PLAYERS. THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE NICEST COURSES IN KENTUCKY. WHAT'S MORE IT DOESN'T COST AN ARM OR LEG TO PLAY IT. GREAT BARGAIN!!! |

| Better bring your whooping stick as this course is long and hard. Errant tee shots will cause your score card to wander into triple digits if you are not careful! Nice fairways and very fast greens. This course is a must from June until October. Nice GPS systems on each cart. Well worth the cost. |
