Lancaster Country Club - Meadow Creek/Dogwood Course

This exclusive private club offers three nine hole courses that can be played in three eighteen hole combinations, as well as a seven hole course that is often played by beginning players. However, the seven hole course is not to be taken lightly since the holes are of regulation length and difficulty. The original Highland/Meadow Creek Course includes strategically placed sand bunkers and all of the other qualities that make the other nine hole course so outstanding. The three nine hole courses were built on rolling terrain and have a river flowing through the middle of the design, which comes into play on fifteen holes. "Golf Digest" chose the original course as the 8th "Best in State" for 1995-96, and 13th in 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" rated it 84th among the top "100 Greatest Courses in the U.S." for 1995, and "GOLFWEEK" ranked it 65th in the category of "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1997, 47th in 1998 and 55th in 1999. William and David Gordon designed six new holes and redesigned the others in 1959. Due to the private nature of the club, fees are not available for disclosure.

| This is one diamond in the rough. It reeks of character and challenging golf holes and surely is one of America's finest old courses. |
