This course has somewhat generous fairways, but beware, out-of-bounds stakes come into play throughout the course. The greens vary in shape and undulation, but most are small. Over half of the greens are double tiered and their speeds range from medium to fast. The most difficult hole on the course is #4, a 452-yard, par 4, with both grass and sand bunkers protecting a small green that is hard to reach in two shots. Since there is no blockage provided by the trees, the wind is always a factor on this course. The 5,200-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 65.0 and a slope of 106.

The dunes is possibly the best course for the money in the entire state! I give the course five stars due to its all around duffer enjoyment. The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. "Great Course"
This is one of the funnest courses that I have ever played. The open layout and scenic views made it a spectacular experience. The work crew and the people there are the greatest. With a work crew of only 5, the course is in fabulous shape and is comparable to some of the best. The fairways are in imaculate condition.
