Golf near the beach, Dec 24, 2010
reviewer: Joe from NY
This is a great course and it is only 3 minutes to Indian Rocks Beach, so my wife can drop me off and walk the beach while I golf. Keeps everyone happy:)

Renovated, Oct 08, 2007

These eariler reviews were from before the course was completely renovated with upgrades from head to toe. It's a nicer short course.

Lousy Conditions, Jul 15, 2005
reviewer: Anonymous from Largo, FL
The fairways are hard. It is like playing on a pool table. The sand in the bunkers is hard also. The ball will never sink into the sand on these. The tee boxes are chopped up. For a short course it plays very slow because people are busy searching for balls in the water and not necessarily ones that they have played instead of worrying about playing their game and the course marshalls don't do anything to control the speed of play. The greens are hard and patchy.

Not worth the time, Feb 12, 2005
reviewer: TB from Largo
Greens are poorly kept. Can't tell on some holes where the greens end and the sand traps begin. Staff seems to really not care if you play there or not. Would not recommend unless you really have nothing better to do.

not that bad, Jul 01, 2004
reviewer: ada from saint petersburg
for a public course its that bad. but a typical faculty, treated me like crap, and believe their course is the TPC Sawgrass. which it obviously is not. go there if your really want to play and have no alternatives. that i got stuck there.
