This course and Palm Valley Golf Club are part of Del Webb's Sun City Community. Highland Falls boasts a peak elevation of 3,053 feet, which makes it the most elevated course in Southern Nevada. This links-style course has many homes lining its fairways. The course was built on rolling hills and has very few trees that can affect your shots. There are ponds coming into play on three separate occasions. The signature hole is #17, a 168-yard, par 3, with a slight dogleg right fairway and requiring a tee shot to a well-bunkered green featuring a beautiful waterfall. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.

The New Highland Falls, Jul 25, 2005

Highland Falls has had its problems in the last few years, due to necessary but painful nusiances associated with rebuilding every green on the golf course and converting to partial desert landscaping. The greens are now gorgeous, not unlike billiard tables. The water saving changes work very well and the overall result is a born-again masterpiece at 3,000 feet above sea level. Well done!

"If you get the chance to play..."
great course requiring the use of all clubs in the bag. most holes are quite challenging,at least for this (15) handicapper. most holes require keeping it in the fairway, or it's trouble. water comes into play on a few holes. blind tee shot on 18 can be a killer. don't pass up the opportunity to play! finally, being from out of town was made easier by the friendly staff.

Member : I found this golf course very changing and beautiful. Even though the course is somewhat short, it is heavily guarded with trees and it has a fair amount of sand around the greens and 3 fairway bunkers, the 1st is on #3 and the other 2 on #17 . The greens are very will maintained with a good quick pace to them. It would be wise to keep it in the short grass because the ruff can get pretty hairy. The best thing about this course is that the average cost to play is $20 to $40 dollars with cart. The down side is that it is located in the sticks (Corry Pa.), about 50 to 60 minutes south east of Erie Pa. They recently started taking take t-times about 2 years ago, so you can call ahead and schedule your time (up to 3 days ahead). If you like a changing and scenic golf course you should take the short trip to North Hills and give the course a try. Happy golfing R.A.W.

"Cairo is where i spend my spring break!!"
Cairo country club offers 18 holes of challenging golf. employees at the club are as generous and courteous as they come. the tree lined fairways call for consistent accuracy off the tee and some strategically placed fairway bunkers make the tee shot a placement factor. bermuda green that are well manacured. my buddy adam schuster says "its good" and my other buddy adam scott says its "da shizzle" the course really flows together throughout the 18 holes and the practice range provides a great area for preparing for the beginning of a round or fine tuning the game.

Fort Cherry Golf Club
"Better than Quicksilver...and cheaper too!!!"
When golf is mentioned around the area of McDonald/Midway/Pittsburgh and it's surrounding areas, most people think of Quicksilver. I urge everyone to play Fort Cherry Golf Club. The staff there treats you like real true people, and are there to serve you. Their gentle courtesey helped me to feel comfortable, even before i stepped forth on the golf course. The course itself is always in beautiful shape. IPrices are right; play is magnificant. I recommend Fort Cherry to all vistors and friends that I know are comming to the area.
