This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. This club hosted the Las Vegas Invitational in 1991. The Lakes Course has six waterfalls that come into play on seven holes. The Canyon Course earned its name because of the sloping fairways and sloping greens. The Sunrise Course has open fairways. There is water that comes into play on a few holes.

Desert Hills Golf Club
"What a golf course should be."
I have played this private course 5-6 times since 1992 and have enjoyed it every time. Recently I played as a guest in a small tournament and the course was in excellent condition. There are 8 other courses in this retirement community, several owned and managed by large course management groups, but they are not in the same class as this one as far as quality is concerned. There are few if any divots on the greens, all players seem to be very conscious of divot repair on the entire course, including the rough, facilities are clean and fresh, clubhouse is pleasant and modern and the staff is great. I have just joined and am thrilled to death with a life-time membership to look forward to!

"Water Hazards?"
Make the turn at even or better if you expect to go low. If water hazards aren't for you be ready on the back side. 6 of the 9 have water hazards that can come into play if your not on your game. I felt good with a 75.
