Every hole on this course has its own distinct characteristics. It was given a Four-Star rating by "Golf Digest" for its great value. There are water hazards coming into play on several holes, especially #10, a 371-yard, par 4, which demands a tee shot over water to a narrow fairway that is lined with water on both sides. This mountain course's fairways are defined by a light cut of rough. Dogwood, maple, and pine trees line the fairways. Senior discounts are available on Mondays only.

| For those of you seeking a quiet out of the way golf experience, look no further. The Olde Mill Golf Resort is a wonderful track that presents its guests with a variety of challenges coupled with visual beauty. Every hole has its own unique character, yet no hole plays "unfair." The front nine plays to a number of elevation changes whereas the back nine features water lined fairways and greens. Surprisingly economical and accomodating, the folks at Olde Mill provide a wonderful setting for a relaxing golf experience. Interestingly, there are a number of wonderfully placed homesites available along the course that have apparently gone unnoticed by the masses (I grabbed mine). If your looking for fast paced and fancy, go elsewhere. If your looking for a quiet setting with beautiful scenery and interesting golf - Olde Mill is the place. |

| You know when you go exploring and find something totaly unexpected. This happened to me the first time I stumbled on Olde Mill. This is one of the most beautiful mountain courses you can find. The course is well kept and is challenging to all skill levels. The 10th hole (signiature) is truly a sight to see as the elevated tee box over looks the lake and a narrow fairly landing, hit you are good, miss and you are wet. The combination of sand and water keep this course a challenge from start to finish while the views and course keep you wondering what is next. One of my favorite courses anywhere. |
