This predominantly flat course is located amid the cornfields of Iowa. The wide open course has a fair amount of trees that can affect your shots. Most of the greens and tee boxes are elevated. The fairly large greens are undulating and fast. The signature hole is #7, a 150-yard, par 3, yielding more holes-in-one than any other par 3 on the course. This course is also a landing strip for small airplanes. The planes have the right-of-way when landing, and many of the pilots enjoy a brisk round of golf after a tiresome flight. The green fees shown above are good for all-day play.

"One of the Best"
Andover is certainly one the best course in the region. It is very challenging as well as one of the most beautiful courses around. The greens at peak season are like glass, the roughs will chew you up and cost additional strokes and the narrow fairways boarded by homes will make you shiver. Your score is determined how well you can over come the fear of taking a full swing or whimp out just to keep it in play. Not being an extra long course makes you contemplate the great shots instead of the smart ones. When you make a mistake take the bogey and go on to the next hole.

Riverview is the perfect practice course when you don't have time for 18. It's long enough to be interesting and offers enough challenges to allow practice on all aspects of your game. The course has good greens, challenging sand traps and water hazards you can't see--until its too late. Its also fun to play.

The greens are well kept and very fast at times. Many are sloped and undulated which makes putting difficult at times. The course is pretty open but has a nice layout.
