This course is best known for the eleven water hazards that come into play on over half its holes. The fairways are narrow and tree lined, and the greens are small and medium speed. Birdhouses on the fairways mark 125 yards to the center of each green. The signature hole is #15, a 456-yard, par 5, requiring a shot over water. The terrain is rolling, but easy to walk.

Woodcrest Country Club
"Woodcrest Country Club"
Woodcrest Country Club is not a long hitters course, but rather accuracy is rewarded. Woodcrest is famous for its rough, so keeping it in the Fairway is the play. Greens are smaller than the nouveau courses, but not the undulating and overly tricky type either. My friends who are low handicappers tell me that the course is tough but fair, and conservative play is best. Higher handicappers like me know the value of course management here.

"Great Game if you like water"
The course is a fun and enjoyable course the water hazards are interesting and challenging. One hole very enjoyable roughly 50-60ft above the green hitting off a raveen down to the green 160 yds out.

Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club
"The brook"
Beaver Brook is a nice course that was developed in the 50's. Because of that, it is not the longest course, and it is more technical than some of the more modern, open designs. The fairways are narrow and hilly with a lot of blind approach shots, and the greens are small. From the Blue it is about 6000 yards, but plays longer because of some of the second shot angles and elevated greens. If you keep it in the fairway, you can score. If you don't, it will be a long round.
