This course's head professional said, "the course is tough to par because the holes are hard to reach for any level of golfer." This course's fairways were built on rolling terrain, so expect many uneven lies. The fairways are lined with a mixture of mature Cherry, pine, maple, willow, and oak trees. The longest hole is #6, a 596-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up and over a large hill. This course's small greens are well bunkered and slightly undulating. In 1996 the greens were enlarged by two feet. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

spectacular views, Aug 22, 2005

Lisa, the club pro, put it best as we left when she asked, " Bet you never played in a country club like this before". You will not find more spectacular views anywhere, from the highest point, near the 7th green where an American Flag flys, you have a panoramic 360 degree view. Breathtaking! If you are looking for a country club atmosphere, find somplace else, but if you want to enjoy a round, this is the place.
