This facility offers a regulation eighteen hole course and an eighteen hole par 3 course. The South Course has tight fairways and its small greens are fast. The North Course is a regulation eighteen hole course with wide fairways and large greens that have medium speed. The terrain is flat and easy to walk. Ted Robinson redesigned the North Course in 1978.

Easy course but entertaining, you can really compete with your buddies here. Little to no trouble wide-open as stated hit the ball hard and far.

I was pretty impressed with the maintenance of the course, given the affordable green fee of $28 on a weekend. It's easy to walk, since it's fairly flat, and has plenty of good holes for breaking out the driver. It has some par 3's that are tough (200yd-ers), but some motivated souls could take out a 5-wood or a 3-iron and go for the green. It's become my course for after-work and business golfing.

watch out for the 12th hole, the green is 100 ft from a parking lot with an eight foot tall fence, very easy to hit a car

Calabasas Golf & Country Club
"Excellent course"
This is an well-designed, well-maintained course nestled among hills and oak trees about an hour west of downtown Los Angeles. It is a Robert Trent Jones designed course, located on land that was previously Warner Ranch. Many movies were filmed on this location, and each hole is named after one of the movies filmed there. It is not long, but it is a challege. Narrow fairways, oak trees, water, fast and undulating greens. Very interesting holes and pin placements.

Shadow Hawk Golf Club
"Fall Visit"
Shadow Hawk is a beautiful venue. The course is hard to rate in the middle of winter when the trees are not in bloom and leafy. The fairways are open and more than fair. The greens are as challenging as they come. They are filled with undulations that make straight putts rare. The greens roll fair and pretty fast. The clubhouse is very classy and comfortable (in winter, nicer than the course itself). I would hope to play this course again in summer (heat and all) to see the beauty. It was still fun and challenging for this 15 handicap player,

"Nice course but difficult to get on........"
This is a great course, provided you can get on it. Always packed, best course in the area by far....I played here once and I am a resident, that shows you how hard it is to get a tee time here, used to be they only wanted non-residents because they pay more to play, (residents get a great discounted rate)...bad management idea there, of course residents complained and alot has changed....if you get the chance to play here by all means do it...you wont regret it...
