This nine hole executive course is meticulously manicured with rolling hills and mounds skirting the fairways. The greens are sloped with challenging breaks. The fairways are lined with newly-planted trees. The entire course offers spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains. The signature hole is #8, a 380-yard, par 4, which features a dogleg fairway that slopes to the right around water. Trees line the left side of the hole. A beautiful view is featured of the clubhouse to the golfer's back.

"Great little secret in Central PA"
This is a very hilly course that is not too long. The greens are small and will yield many 3 putts if you are in the wrong spot. There are a lot of risk reward holes to make birdies or double bogeys. With small fast greens and the hilly terain, anything around par is a great score the average player with a 14 handicap should expect to play around 83 golf. Well maintaned golf course, good food and service in the dinning room. The pro shop staff is very professional and accomidating. The best thing is the cheap cart(highly reccomend to take one) and green fees less then $40 a player. This is my second favorite thing to do on a Penn State football weekend, of course the Nittany Lions are the first thing.

Prairie View Golf Course
"Saving grace is practice range"
This is only a par 35 I believe. Only one challenging hole, and that is #9 where you must stay between both ponds. The rest is open, and pretty easy. It does seem to play longer then you would expect for a par 35. It is pretty plain jane, the trees are still young and small, not much shade offered in the heat of the day, and not alot of plantings or flower beds etc. Plenty of carts available, and pull carts.
