This well-maintained course isn't very difficult. The fairways are open, and the somewhat undulating greens are medium in speed and size. The terrain is rolling, and there is a creek meandering throughout the course that comes into play on thirteen holes. The signature hole is #5, a 351-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot to an elevated green with a drop off the right side that will take you into no man's land.

Good Course for a Good Price, Jul 19, 2010
reviewer: Gary from VA
Played here for the first time on Jul 4th weekend. I used to play in GooseCreek course (which is another nice course) nearby a lot and found a great deal at WestPark. The layout was very nice.. amidst houses on either side of a few par 4s. I shoot around 90-100, and i did not find this course any easier than the others. In fact I lost the most # of balls in this course. There is one hole in the front nine that winds left by almost 90 degrees.. Am looking forward to that hole this weekend.. The -ve about this place, are the flies/bugs that hover around the tee areas. Made it a little diff to hit a shot sometimes. Not sure if its seasonal.

Great Beginners Course, Aug 29, 2009
reviewer: LP from Leesburg, VA
My teenage kids recently started playing golf. Started with lessons here at Westpark. The staff is friendly and seems to welcome juniors and encourages them to get out and practice. It's a very nice golf club without the country club atmosphere. It's a pretty course despite previous reviews. If glamour and atmosphere is what you are looking for, go fork over $10,000+ at one of the local "resort" golfing communities, however if you are just starting out or want to get some good practice in at a very resonable price, then Westpark is a great place.

I live on hole six. I am always out playing golf because i am a member to westpark. Great layout. Greens are in excellent shape. Fairways could use a little bit more water but great corse overall. about a four in difficulty.

Ehhh..., Jul 26, 2005
reviewer: Nic Vico from Potomac Falls, VA
This course is a typical public course. I belong to Lowes Island and Lowes puts Westpark to shame. Westpark is torn up, the greens are about as slow as possible. But I find it relativly easy. It is a good confindence booster to a bad player. I shot 69,68,63, in a week period. But I have a +2 handicap and am still in high school. So (It is very expensive by the way) if you want to be ripped off go ahead and play the distugsting, the houses on the course are ugly to look at, at time terrible, Westpark golf course located in Leesburg Virginia

Nice Course For The Price, Jun 23, 2005
reviewer: Madrob from Atlanta
I played this course twice on 06/17/05. It's harder than it looks and though the construction following hole #4 is confusing, the course is nicely laid out and was in pretty good shape. Fairways were decent with a medium length rough. Greens were in pretty good shape and played a little fast. But with my game it didn't matter much(LOL)! Staff was very friendly and courteous (cute cart girl)and my brother and I replayed the course for a second round, after grabbing some lunch. will definitely play again next time I am in VA.

Above average difficulty, Jul 10, 2004
reviewer: B. Snow from Sterling, VA
Very well laid out course, great driving range and one chiping green with sand bunker and a putting green to get warmed up. Holes are very diverse with some doglegs left and right with the most challeging hole #18 over water. One of the best courses in the Northern Va area. Good prices as well.
