The club members and its employees are proud of the friendly atmosphere they have worked so hard to maintain. The clubhouse provides a great view of the last hole. The course's undulating greens are large and fast. In addition, there are a moderate amount of sand bunkers on this wide-open course. The toughest hole is #17, a 210-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake to the green.

I drove out to the country expecting a possible goat track. I was pleasantly surprised by this course. 6 holes are gorgeously scenic. Hard greens, but in great condition. Fairways are lush.

A pleasant surprise for a course out in the country. Fast hard greens, lush fairways, deceptive rough, and much more scenic than one anticipates! Too bad it is a private club. Excellent membership rates, though.

Fast greens, Plush fairways, challenging layout. Not as open as it looks. The course was redone from tee to green about a year ago. This course will play like a 5 star course when the renovations mature. Best little course in the midlands. Friendly staff. Friendly members. Worth the money to join. Worth the money to play.

You must take into consideration this is a course run and maintained by County government so it's maintenance is not what it should be. Aside from that it is a great course. It is long, very challenging, fairly wide open and hilly. It's also a very pretty course. You would be hard pressed to find any course in a comparable price range that is this nice with such a beautiful layout. This course gets a lot of play during the week from senior citizens ( they get yearly permits ) but on Friday thru Sunday it is not crowded.
