This eighteen hole course is located in the shadow of Grandfather Mountain. The meticulously maintained greens are renowned as some of the best in the area. They are average to small in size, with a variety of flatness and undulation. The fairways are open, reminiscent of a links course. The course is fairly hilly, with many elevation changes, including elevated tee boxes and greens. This course offers a scenic round of golf, as well as a challenge for all levels of play.

| I love to play this course. It has many "reachable" par 4's, but will bite you if you get it wrong. Don't expect any flat lies, as nearly every fairway and green slopes one way or another. This course rewards accuracy above all else. It is rather short, but forces you to lay-up with irons from some of the par 4 tees. A few holes are "high risk, high reward." The greatest asset of this course (other than price) is the spectacular scenery. Views of Table Rock, Hawks Bill, and Grandfather Mountain are a pleasant distraction. |

| This is the best place that I have found to play in Lenoir NC. The course is great! The price is great! The staff is great! and the views are great! I recommend that you try this course! |

| What a great value! This "foothills" course is fabulous. The fairways are relatively wide with a variety of hills, creeks, small ponds and average to small greens. Accuracy is a must if you "go-for" greens in two shots (on the par 5s). Take a chance and a birdie chance can end up with a double bogey. The views of Grandfather Mountain and Table Rock are magnificent. Check this public course out when you are in the area. |
