If you can get over the plastic mats, rubber tees, and lack of fairways, you'll have a blast at Midway. All you can play for $13, with $.50 pull carts and full sets of irons to borrow for free. The greens large and easy to hit, with wide fringes. They were fast and well maintained. No fairways made it difficult to get a good shot from outside the greens. The area was surprisingly pleasant with very large willows lining the course, and surrounded by forest on 2 sides. Most of the course was played in the shade. It was pretty empty in the late afternoon, but it gets dark early with all the shadows. The driving range was a good value, but was only labeled every 50 yards starting at 100. That made it difficult to warm up when most of the holes are under 100.

After reading Dingleman's review I decided to try this place out. UNBELIEVABLE! That is all I can say. This place makes Agusta look like a dump for rich brats. Birdie corner is indeed a treat, as was Abbot's Limb and Burnsy. Burnsy looks easy, and you think you're gonna score, but man, does she slap your scoring efforts away. Clientel is indeed suspect, but if you keep it real you will be OK.

greatest course on earth. $10 all you can play with $0.50 cart rental. no dress code, beers not only allowed in coolers but condoned. never a better course. Old Tom Morris himself would be a member here. each hole has unique name, such as 3-jack, flat top, boche's pie, etc. low scores must be made at birdie elbow (Nos. 12 and 13) as finishing holes are challenging. Clientel is a bit sketchy, but with NASCAR hat in tow, all should be OK. Club rental avialable. but not recommended
