This open course has many sand bunkers throughout its design. The greens are, in general, abnormally large and sometimes carry a great deal of undulation as well. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and chose is as 10th the "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998. The club annually hosts the Senior PGA Tour's Bank One Classic.

| Always a good value and always in good shape. Very tough when the wind blows, and it usually does! Keep it in play and you can go low. |

Golf Weekend? Worth the trip, Jan 10, 2005 |

| My buddies and I came down from Michigan last year and played it on the way home. It was in early March, so I'm sure the course is even prettier in April, but it was in great shape then. The layout is typical Dye, fair if you keep the ball in play--shin kickin if you don't. The greens were huge and fast, but true and fun. It's worth playing, especially for the price. |

| Lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng course! Fairways and greens are very nice with the greens being very fast. Gps systems would be nice or better yardage markers. |

Excellent Links Style Course, Jul 26, 2004 |

| I have played this course for many years. It is consistently in great shape, well maintained for a municipal course. If the wind is blowing it can play very mean. Personally, I like the back nine better than the front nine. The holes are more interesting especially the par threes. Staff is very helpful and will go out of their way to accomodate singles and groups trying to play. |

| The course is in outstanding shape. The greens putt true. Some of the par 4's are a challenge from the white tees. For the average golfer the par 5's play fairly and will reward good shots with birdie opportunities. The staff is very cordial. This is a fine place to play. |

| This course is one of the best layed out courses in Kentucky. It is beautifully detailed and landscaped. The greens and fairways are maticulously cared for. It is a very nice course and worth a play. |

Decent, not great course, May 07, 2004 |

| This is a wide open course that is billed as "Scottish Links style". There was very little on the course to give that kind of feeling. Our group was delayed by nearly an hour to let a group "make the turn". Pro shop has some nice collectibles, but the best part was the little pub upstairs. |
