This very exclusive club opened nine new holes in May of 1997. There are no water hazards, but plenty of sand bunkers. The greens are very undulating, and the fairways are tree lined. This course is a true Donald Ross design where you cannot see the bunkers until you are in them. Guests must be accompanied by a member in order to play this course.

| This appears to be the same Rolling Rock Club connected with the Rolling Rock Club canned hunting preserve in Ligonier Township where Vice President Dick Cheney shot 70 stocked pheasants and some number of mallards in December 2003. Can't imagine that he subsequently ate that many. Shameful business, shooting confined beasts. A way to improve the course might be to shut down the canned hunting club, so that it would be possible to enjoy the golf course without feeling as if one is supporting the shooting of pen-raised animals. |
