This resort, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1998 list of "Gold Medal Resorts," features two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Kiele Course is very demanding and requires several shots over ravines. "Golf Digest" rated it the 6th "Best in State" course in 1995-96, and 7th in 1997-98. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" nominated it 64th among the "Top 100 Course You Can Play In The U.S." in 1998. The Lagoons Course is a bit easier and much more forgiving off the tee. Carts are mandatory on the Kiele Course, while golfers may walk the Lagoon Course at designated times.

Awesome Tournament Facility. Treated like a family member and enjoyed a five hour "tournament" round. The course was totally "ours" for the 6 1/2 hours that we were there. Awesome banquet facilities, with a Breakfast Menu that is unbeatable. Seating in the restraunt was a dream come true, with local birds next to your tables. Breakfast seating easily accommodated our party of 20 family members, the day after our tournament.

This golf course is sneaky long, but it is made difficult because the greens won't hold a shot longer than a nine iron, the greens are too small and there is very little space on either side of most of the greens to make a chip shot. This course is much poorer than several public layouts and the membership is both expensive and poorly managed.

Member : I found this golf course very changing and beautiful. Even though the course is somewhat short, it is heavily guarded with trees and it has a fair amount of sand around the greens and 3 fairway bunkers, the 1st is on #3 and the other 2 on #17 . The greens are very will maintained with a good quick pace to them. It would be wise to keep it in the short grass because the ruff can get pretty hairy. The best thing about this course is that the average cost to play is $20 to $40 dollars with cart. The down side is that it is located in the sticks (Corry Pa.), about 50 to 60 minutes south east of Erie Pa. They recently started taking take t-times about 2 years ago, so you can call ahead and schedule your time (up to 3 days ahead). If you like a changing and scenic golf course you should take the short trip to North Hills and give the course a try. Happy golfing R.A.W.

"Good for the money"
This course can vary between 2-4 stars. When the course is adequately kept up...It can be a enjoyable time. Other times have left me frustrated at loosing balls in the fairways, and fair green conditions. As of late, it has been really nice. Nothing outstanding about this course...but it is usually a solid day of batting around a ball with the boys.
