Great for the $$$, Sep 06, 2010
reviewer: KB 10 hcp from Fayetteville
A few greens need a little tlc, but fairways are very good. Layout is perfect for beginners or short knockers and the price is hard to beat $20 during the week. Slow play can be an issue, but overall you won't be disappointed...

Great to learn on, Jun 12, 2010
reviewer: ALC from Lillington, NC
I am a beginner and find this course comfortable to learn on. Friendly staff, very laid back. Also to the person that complained about people going to slow, some of us are beginners and take a little longer than others. We want to learn the game just like you. On the other hand if you're refering to people who arent begginers and are just out there messing around then I agree with you. Other than that, great course. Deff will be goin back. Very cheap too.

i play this course about 3 times a week and love it. the staff is just wonderful and good people. the only thing that i don't care for is some of the folks that play there, you would think that they have never played the game of golf. they play so slow it brings play to a craw. please speed up or go play putt putt.

Great Beginners Course, Jul 13, 2006
reviewer: GP from Erwin, NC
A good course for the beginner. No sand at all and the fairways are wide open. The greens are bermuda so the ball will not fly off the green if you hit it a little firm. The staff is very friendly and will help with anything you need during your round. The prices are low, so the beginner doesn't have to mortgage a house to be able to play this course. A good course to learn the game or just work out some of the problems in your swing.

Foxworthy's Dream Course, Feb 17, 2006
reviewer: KB from Fayetteville, NC
Not a great course, but not the worst either. Greens are small and firm and they seem to have a drainage problem in the fairways after a little rain. Good place for beginners to knock the ball around, but not so good for them to learn golf ettiquette. Fees are low, so you can afford to play here alot. For the weekend hacker groups, if you want to save more $$$ for beer, you'll love it here. Dress code is very liberal also.
