This links-style course features well-bunkered greens with water hazards coming into play on six of the greens, which, along with the fairways, are mildly undulating. The fairways are considerably open by today's standards. The signature hole is #8, a 538-yard, par 5, which has an elevated tee and dogleg fairway that sweeps to the left. The tee shot must carry a creek that crosses the fairway about thirty yards out. The second shot involves a constricting fairway before the green and a lake. The landing area is small on this hole. Accuracy is a must. Waltz Golf Farm is located adjacent to this facility and features two miniature golf courses and a nine hole par 3 course.

Nice Course, Sep 12, 2010 |

| Course was in very nice condition - both fairways and greens - in spite the on going drought conditions we've been experiencing over the past two months. The greens rolled true and were faster than any of the other public courses I've played in the area. The staff were very friendly. If you live in Montgomery County you should check out The Turtle. |

Excellent Outing Location, Oct 23, 2007 |

| Turtle Creek staff were friendly and accommodating to our group at a recent outing. The greens were in excellent shape despite the very dry September we have experienced. I appreciated the cart valet service from my car to the clubhouse upon arrival. I would highly recommend this course for a company outing or fundraiser event! |

| great course and kept in good shape. Rough can be "rough" - but thats what it is suppose to be! 18 is a great and challenging finishing hole. Note: the rangers encourage ready golf which I like. Not a course to take your first lesson. |
