Good course, especially #8, Aug 09, 2005

Of the four municipal courses in Lincoln, Mahoney is probably the poorest. That is not to say that it is necessarily bad, however. The narrow fairways require straight tee shots, and a number of doglegs demand accurate placement. The eighth hole is extremely difficult-a 420 yd par 4 with a downhill tee shot and water to your left, and then back uphill with a dogleg left to a bunker-guarded green. This course sees a lot of golfers, and occasionaly shows the wear, especially on the tees and greens. Pace of play is very slow on nice summer days.

Riverview is the perfect practice course when you don't have time for 18. It's long enough to be interesting and offers enough challenges to allow practice on all aspects of your game. Blue Lakes Country Club

Blue Lakes C.C. is one of the best courses I have played, and I have been all over the country. Deep in the Snake River Canyon, there is not one shot that isnt breath taking. Rob Ellis, has done a great job with his staff, and golf course. If anyone gets the opportunity to play this magnificant course, do not pass it up. I would pay 2ce or 3 times as much to play this course again.

Quail Ridge Golf Course
"Great Learning Course"
A very fair, playable course. Gives the novice an opportunity to try their skills without extreme risk. It also will challenge the low handicap golfer with it's terrain and hazard placement. The par 5's are scattered on the course so as to challenge you at the most critical times. Holes 8 through 12 will leave you feeling as though you've run a marathon only to have very delicate par 3's ahead.
