Phil Harris Golf Course

State Road 54 E
Linton, IN 47441
Phone: (812)847-4790

This fairly short course provides for fast play. The signature hole is #7, a par 3, requiring a tee shot off an elevated tee that must avoid the out-of-bounds stakes which line the right side of the fairway, then an approach shot to a small, undulating green. Water hazards (streams, lakes, and ponds) come into play on a number of holes.

A pleasure to play!!!, May 21, 2010

I have just recently moved to the Greene County area. I came from Lafayette and I am used to playing places such as Birck Boilermaker Complex, Ravines Golf Course and Coyote Crossing Golf Course. The Phil Harris Golf Course is a nice smaller pace of a place to play, now I am not comparing Phil Harris with these places but I do like the "SMALL TOWN" place and the price is a nice surprise to see. I have just recently purchased a season pass and have enjoyed the fact that I can get on (mostly with NO tee time) the course and play a round without being rushed and crowded. The only thing I could maybe say is that they need no hazards that are in play. GREAT JOB Phil Harris, keep up the good work!!!!

Phil Harris GC, Apr 22, 2010
reviewer: Jason Vaughn from Worhtington, IN USA
I have just recently moved to Linton from Lafayette, Phil Harris is not on the scales of the Lafayette Golf Courses but I do find it a challenge for me to play at this course. I have just recently also bought a season pass for Phil Harris and I am very pleased at the price and the nice staff that they do have to offer. I will admit playing on it in years passed I was not very pleased with this place but now that I play twice a week i am getting more and more fond of this place. I WOULD strongly recommend this place to play your next round. Enjoy FORE!!!!!!
