This facility has an eighteen hole regulation course and an eighteen hole executive course. The Grandfather Course features fairways that are both hilly and flat, and trees come into play on every hole. There is plenty of water to make the course a challenge. The signature hole for the Grandfather Course is #18, a par 4, requiring an approach shot to a narrow green. The Grandfather course was rated by "Golf Digest" as the 4th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 6th best for 1997-98. In addition, it was rated by "GOLFWEEK" as 48th best among "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, 74th for 1998 and 70th for 1999. The Mountain Springs Course has greens that are small and undulating. Most of the tees and greens are elevated.

One of the best courses I have ever played. Tight yet fair, great layout, conditions could not be better and the greens were fast. Better put it in the right spot or 2 putts are tough.
