This beautiful course plays alongside the Cheyenne River. However, the river only comes into play on hole #6, a 173-yard, par 3. The greens are undulating and difficult to read, and the terrain is rolling. Don Herfort redesigned this course in 1965.

Lisbon Bissell Golf Course is a beautiful 9 hole course located in Lisbon, North Dakota. Tee times are not generally required, for less than $20 you can get 18 holes of golf with a cart. There is a full service resturant and bar in the club house that is open daily. The course is very well kept and moderatly challenging. Lisbon is much more that I expected from a 9 hole course.

Marshallia Ranch Golf Course
"Marshallia Rocks"
This is one tough but, neat course. Carved out of the hills surrounding Vandenberg AFB, the layout is challenging and scenic. Play in the fall and winter for the best weather, because spring and summer can be very cool and windy. Each hole rewards a decent shot, but plucks out your heart if your shot runs errant. Ice plant gives a new meaning to the word, rough. Here's a putting tip, 90% of the putts break toward the high hills to the south, though you will swear it can't be. The course is usually in terrific condition and the Clubhouse very accomodating. Green fees, equipment and food are more than reasonable when compared to nearby courses. This is one gem all golfers must experience.

"The best in Northern California"
Simply the best in worst greens, worst drainage and highest price! Can't be beat! Course maintenance? What the hell is that? It's not need here, cause crabgrass takes care of itself both on and off the greens.

Tamahka Trails
"Weekend Excursion"
It's the offseason now and we've just returned from 27 holes at Tamahka Trails. The rate was very reasonable, service second to none and the course ... well this old cajun boy has never played a finer course in his life and may never still. The people made us feel as though we never left our home town. They treat you with kindness and respect, catering to your every whim. Let me tell you it was one of the very best golf outings I've ever had (and plan to have again). If you would like to experience golf as it should be ... try Tamahka Trails. You won't be disappointed. And by the way ... for a course this nice the seasonal rates are good also. See you there ...

Twin Hills Golf Course
"Short and well maintained"
Twin Hills is a short course - 6000 yards according to the card, and even that might be a stretch. The game starts on the greens here; they are among the most difficult in the area because of the undulations. The best holes are the par 3s. The facilities are barebones - no proshop, small and dated clubhouse. No frills golf, but they seem to have course maintenance down to a science.
