This demanding course has undulating greens and water hazards on every hole. The fairways are narrow and tree lined and the large greens are fast.

Nice Course, Jul 13, 2005 |

| The course is long and challenging for all but the longest hitters. The conditions are good, considering the number of tournaments played on the course. This is certainly one of the better courses in New Hampshire. |

Links Style!, Jul 13, 2004 |
| reviewer: Jack
from Londonderry, NH |
| Open course with very tight fairways. Bring a helmet. Fairways and greens in great shape. Layout of holes was confusing in a few places. We actually started heading down the wrong fairway at one point. Some long challenging par 4's. Marsh, water played into many holes. Greens tough, with lots of contour. If you like links style courses, this is worth the price, otherwise would look elsewhere like Canterbury Woods or Windham CC. |

| The course itself is a wonder; squeezed between the Merrimack River and Route 3A in Litchfield. It is long and narrow and, used to be all farm land. For such a picture perfect environment, the course should be in in much better shape. Even with all of the play, the greens, fairways and rough show neglect. With ample water from the River and good sod underneath, there is no excuse for poor playing conditions. The staff is average at best. They do not do anything more than the minimum. Too bad as this could be such a jewel due to locale, layout and length. It is a good course for longball hitters if, all you care about is hitting the ball and none of the other facors in golf(friendly staff, carts & paths in good condition, etc.). Worth a visit if you are in the area; I would like to hear another golfers opinion! |

| Fabulous, hidden jewel, that is incredibly interesting and all will enjoy, but the low handicappers will be back again and again, because there is something to prove to yourself by scoring well here. You will be really feel that you have a game, with a good score here!!! |
