This small par 3 course offers a great way to sharpen and improve that short game. With no water hazards and very few sand bunkers, this course offers a convenient place for golfers of a beginner level to play without fear of losing a ball or a stroke. Set in the country area of Colorado, this course gives the effect of a mountain range course in a plains setting. Bring your walking shoes; there are no power carts available. Membership information is available through the pro shop. Ladies tee off from the same set as the men.

Nice Place to Learn, Nov 10, 2004

This 9 hole walking course is very playable. It has two difficult holes (over 200 yards) and seven holes ranging from 95 yards to 160 yards. The greens are flat, generally soft, roll well, and will hold an average shot, but have a tencancy to be a little inconsistent for putting due to the high volume of play. The course record is 23 and the membership is diverse with respect to age and gender. A typical round can be played in 90 minutes or less. No electric carts are allowed.

Southglenn Country Club is a very good golf course for those who want a nice relaxing place to golf. It's a perfect golf course to just have fun or clean up some parts of your game.

Experience at Koele, The
"Enjoyable golf in one of the world's greatest settings"
The Experience at Koele is a very nice Greg Norman designed layout that will having you often looking at the scenery in lieu of thinking about your next shot. One of two golf coures on the very upscale and exclusive island of Lanai, playing the Experience is a wonderful way to spend part of the day. The staff are very friendly and cater to whatever you need. Guests are there to have a good time and many people from around the globe find their way to Lanai to stay and play. When I played, the course was not quiet mature enough and, when mature, the golf course will be superb. It has been three years since then and I look forward to the next time I get a chance to stay on Lanai and enjoy again this course and/or the Nicklaus course near the ocean. If I only had one resort visit left in me, it would be to the Manele Bay Hotel and the island of Lanai. What more can I say.
