This course was originally built on the grounds of the historic Ogletree Sawmill. In 1999, the original course joined with the neighboring municipal course to create a new eighteen hole design. The new layout is lined with large pine trees, and sand bunkers come into play on several holes. Water hazards also come into play on several holes, including a winding creek on the new nine. The terrain is rolling because the course is laid out along a hill that offers panoramic views of the countryside. Holes #1 through #5 are played on the original course, #6 through #14 are located across the railroad tracks on the new terrain, and #15 through #18 are comprised of the original course's terrain.

Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course
"High Quality Private Club"
As a Brit abroad, I was lucky enough to receive a couple of invitations to play here. The whole experience was outstanding, from the service at the club to the course itself. The clubhouse is one of the more impressive around (probably only improved upon by my home course in the UK!). The track itself was in excellent condition and, as with other Tillinghast courses, was a good strategic challenge, although not as 'man-sized' as say Winged Foot West and Bethpage Black. More playable for someone of my ability and therefore perhaps as enjoyable.

"Scenic and challenging"
This is a beautiful and well designed course. The course can prove to be challenging for both the beginner and scratch golfer alike. The high grass that seperates some of the holes can be frustrating, so you would be well advised to keep to the left on such holes. During the fall the greens are usually riddled with leaves and twigs so spring and summer would be your best bet. The developer did an excellent job incorporating the natural surroundings into the course. With a tee off the top of a ridge on hole one, to the natural rocks that appear throughout the course, Greystone Golf Club in Dickson is sure to give you the feeling of connecting with nature as you connect with your ball.

Twin Creeks Golf Course
"Good for a short course"
I was visiting during a misty, rainy day but other than that I really enjoyed this course because it is not as easy as it looks. You really need to know your irons when playing this course. It's very easy to over-hit some of the holes.

Shawnee Lookout Golf Course
"Beautiful, Scenic, Challenging, HILLLLLLYYY"
I have played this course several times when traveling to the Cincinnati area and have found this gold course to be most scenic. First few holes are easy.. but this just to draw you into the ambush of trees, hills, water and rough that lie ahead. Very fun course to play. Nestled and secluded right in the corner of where three states meet, with views of the Ohio river and Great Miami River.
