Poor course design, Aug 01, 2004

I have played my league at this course for the last 3 years. You will definitely need some local knowledge to score well at this course. The design presents you without any options. You basically have only one way to play here and that is to keep your driver in the bag. The greens are s l o w!!! Probably run at about 4 on the Stimp. Course is closing this fall for a design overhaul. Hopefully, they improve the course - they certainly can't make it any worse.

I've played this course for years and keep coming back.Its really a great course because It's not too long but still requires a well placed shot to avoid trouble. The City of Livonia does a great job in maintaining the course.

Seriously, this course is one of the top five Michigan Courses I've played. It is very nice, except for the fact they don't replace divots there, but they made a bunch of ashtrays next to the greens. They are awesome. Seriously, awesome.

It is an average length course, but enjoyable. The fescue around the bunkers gives the course a nice look. There are some intersting holes such as one with a 2 tiered green right in front to make for a tough second shot from only around 60 yards. Some water but overall its fun and if you have the chance to play there do so.
