This desert course has very fast greens and the wind can make playing conditions extremely difficult. The course is located in a very scenic area measuring some 3,500 feet in elevation. The club is the host to the Southern California PGA Players Championship and other tournaments. The signature hole is #5, a 579-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to a green with a water hazard protecting the right side.

Kis-N-Greens Golf Course
"Update"
The course has been expanded to 18 holes, par 72. The fairways are improved over the condition that they were in a year ago. Some greens have been expanded, with more to follow. 400 trees have been added to the course as of 2003. The trees are small but will help distinguish fairways from rough. Water comes into play on 6 holes. No sand, and the tee boxes need work (leveling) maybe some irragation on the fairways (more ponds needed). Overall, satisfied with course, wind makes it more difficult than it looks, and greens are deceiving.

I love this course, the greens are kept in good condition. They are very challenging but fun. The fairways are also kept very well. The only thing I would change is the prices and the way it is run. I recommend a membership to anyone!!!!

Nisqually Valley Golf Course
"A good winter course"
This is a good course for golfers who can have fun without elaborate amenities. Practice facilites are minimal as is the proshop. The main assets are: golf value per dollar (great senior rates), minimal paved golf car paths so a ball is seldom scuffed and ricocheted to bad places, playability through the winter as the drainage is good because only minimal grading was done during construction. Walking is easy as there are only three areas that rise 20 or thirty feet. There are some nice oak tree framed views of Mt. Rainier. On approximately 90 acres this is, consequently, a very compact course with fairways side by side, so be alert to the call of "fore" and protect yourself. You should not hesitate to yell when you strike one out of your fairway.
